About the Event
LEARNING SYMPOSIUM for Heritage, Health and Arts professionals and everyone interested in therapeutic creativity and care in museums.
Come together for an inspiring day of keynote speeches, discussions and 'nuts and bolts' sessions for Museum and Mental Health professionals, Community Support Organisations and Creative professionals and practitioners.
Expect honest conversations, inspiring ideas and partnerships from across the South West and lots of creativity! (see the booking link for the full schedule of guest speakers, activities and more).
Museums care for their collections but they also care about people.
This cross-sector event will bring together museums, arts organisations and mental health professionals to talk about how care is manifested in museums. With a focus on creativity and therapeutic spaces we’ll examine good practice, share learning and hear from people who have participated in 'heritage and health' programmes .
Come to be inspired and supported, build networks and grab some practical ideas!
