YsEnquiring

Brief Description of Organisation

We are a small and enthusiastic group of volunteers who provide learning opportunities in a safe and caring space for children of all abilities and backgrounds aged 7 to 11 years. Our workshops are free and held on the second Saturday of each month during term time in Bath Central Library.

Full Description of Organisation

Our aim is to provide opportunities for children and adults to develop life-long learning abilities with pleasure and confidence, and to value the knowledge they and others create and contribute to the common good.

We provide events, workshops and activities for children, young people and volunteers that develop their interests and extend their ability to enhance their learning and lives and that of others.

We offer advice, support and encouragement to residents, schools, community groups and businesses in relation to their involvement with YsEnquiring.  We aim to develop public awareness and understanding of life-long learning as a continuing process, enabling individuals, groups and communities, regardless of social or economic background, to benefit.

YsEnquiring also liaise and work with all interested people, organisations and local communities, organising and taking part in events that raise awareness of our objectives.

We have all worked with children over many years, are registered as STEM Ambassadors and hold enhanced DBS certificates.
