Advantage Course Restarts

Bath College are kicking off another Advantage course in conjunction with the Bath Rugby Foundation.

Following the huge success of last years course in which they saw a number of young adults attend the course over the summer and emerge with increased levels of self-confidence, motivation and employability skills, this year they are running two!

Running concurrently, they will be delivering the course both in the Rec in the centre of Bath and also the Peasdown St John Recreation centre. They hope that this will open the course to other residents of BANES who may have found travelling into the centre of Bath a hurdle of which they did not have the confidence to jump.

Advantage will be running on Mondays and Tuesdays from the 27th of July until the 25th of August at the Rec, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from the 29th of July until the 27th of August in Peasdown St John, primarily delivered by Joe from the Bath Rugby Foundation with back up from Bath College and YCSW. The course is free, and all food will also be provided on site.

The course is open to anyone aged between 18 and 24, and those involved last year will already know how amazing it is, and what a difference it makes to the young adults who attend.

If you know anyone who may benefit from this course and would like to enrol them, please go through the Bath Rugby Foundation website to register interest: www.bathrugbyfoundation.com/advantage

If you would like to be involved, they are running mock interview sessions at the end of the course for all of the learners (on the 25th and the 27th of August) and would welcome you along to play the role of an employer - please contact: Kelly.Vaughan-Watkins@bathcollege.ac.uk
