Check In and Chat Service – Available for Referrals

The Check in and Chat service, by NHS and Care Volunteer Responders, is open for referrals and self-referrals.

If your organisation does not offer a telephone support service, the NHS and Care Volunteer Responders’ Check In and Chat service is available. The free service offers friendly phone calls from volunteers, providing companionship and reassurance to those who may be isolated or in need of connection. 

The free service is available for one-off chats or regular calls of up to 18 weeks.
