It covers topics including; cooking practices, hoarding, candles and smoking safety, electrical safety and, importantly, how to make a referral into AF&RS to request a Home Fire Safety Visit.

The training is free and will run over Teams for 1 hr 15 minutes. Sessions can be booked from AF&RS website (using Eventbrite)

In 2019/20 there were over 250 fire fatalities in the UK.
