Funding boost available

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has launched the ‘Covid-19 Extraordinary Ministry of Justice Funding for Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support Service’ after securing £25 million from the Government. The extra funding is available to charities who support vulnerable people including victims and survivors of sexual violence and domestic abuse.

The funding will cover contingency funding needs from 24 March 2020 (first day of lockdown) to 31 October 2020. Funding may be used to cover both incurred and anticipated additional costs due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Application deadline: 1st June 2020.
