HomeKIT is an exciting scheme by Share and Repair that takes small household electricals - like kettles, heaters and vacuums - has them PAT tested (and repaired if necessary) by kind volunteers and then rehomes them by donating them to people in need.
The rehoming process of these items is done through local charities that work with low-income families, domestic abuse victims and more. The HomeKIT project has been inundated with donated appliances from the public and is looking for new charities to help rehome these items and give them to people in need.
