St Monica Trust Peer Support Fund

ree

In December St Monica launched their Peer Support Fund to support projects that aimed to ‘match’ older people into pairs or groups with the aim of them improving each other’s confidence, social contact and general quality of life. With the current lockdown and covid guidelines, isolation and loneliness remains a significant issue, especially for those individuals who are digitally excluded.

They have had a terrific response since the launch and are seeing some great examples of collaboration and cooperation between communities and organisation. There are only 4 weeks left until the deadline on 19th February 2021 and they are always happy to talk to organisations who are interested in the fund and have any questions so please get in touch.

You can email them at communityimpact@stmonicatrust.org.uk with questions or to arrange an informal conversation.
