Supporting people going without hygiene products?

Writer's picture: Web Admin.Web Admin.

The charity In Kind Direct works with charities, community organisations and companies to ensure everyone has access to the products they need to live well. They believe everyone deserves access to life’s essentials and no usable product should go to waste.

Imagine this:

Last week you ran out of toothpaste and you haven’t brushed your teeth since.

Today, money is so tight you’re using a sock instead of a period pad.

This is the harsh reality for millions of UK households currently living in hygiene poverty and facing the impossible decision to eat, heat or keep clean on a daily basis.

Last year alone, In Kind Direct distributed over 342,000 hygiene packs and saved charities and community organisations across their network £26m.  They also use insights, research, and partnerships to tackle the root causes of going without.

This National Hygiene Week (7-13th October), Join In Kind Direct’s charitable network to access a range of hygiene products like toothpaste, period products, shampoo, soap and shower wash, to help keep the people you support clean and well.
