Dragon's Den is Back Supporting Community Projects in Radstock & Westfield

Dear potential contestant, dare I say potential winner…

You are invited to apply to the 13th Dragons’ Den!

Our Dragons’ Den is designed to enable individuals and local organisations to receive money and support to carry out projects that will benefit the Radstock and Westfield communities, which include Writhlington, Clandown, Tyning and Haydon. Importantly, it’s the residents themselves who will decide which projects are their priorities! So get ready to inspire, engage and entertain our local community with your pitch!

Residents, groups and organisations are invited to apply to take part to win up to £1,000 each – and make good things happen in our community!

• The first 15 applicants will get a chance to pitch for one of ten £500 awards – so get your

  applications in quickly!

• Applications should benefit people within the Radstock-Westfield area. Be creative with the idea!

• We will only accept one application per organisation/individual.

• The community* decides! Applicants will be making their pitch to the audience (made up of residents).

• There will be up to ten winners!

• There will be cake!

• There will be fun and a chance to connect with the community and stakeholders (previously we've had Quartet Community Foundation, Somer Valley Rotary, and the High Sheriff of Somerset).

Our friendly (non-voting) Dragons will include representatives from 3rd sector funders and local businesses.

These Dragons can help you to find more funds, build your group, link with people who can support you, and promote what you’re doing.

The Radstock & Westfield Community Dragons’ Den is run by 3SG and funded by Radstock & Westfield Big Local.
