About the Event

Everyone’s talking about artificial intelligence and machine learning, and whether they’ll revolutionise every field of human activity. Do they present opportunities or threats to the charity sector and philanthropy? Should we be readying ourselves to jump in and embrace their benefits, or working out how to avoid their harms?

This event is an opportunity for participants to learn about what they should be thinking through to identify and understand potential benefits and risks, and get past the hype to practical insight.

The event will be chaired by NPC’s Director of Innovation and Development, Tris Lumley and speakers include, Tania Duarte, Co-Founder and CEO, WE and AI, and Rhodri Davies, Director, Philanthropy Matters.

Accessibility

We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our online and in-person events. As part of our commitment, for all online events we use live closed captions and upload the recordings to YouTube which has the capability to select subtitles. For in-person events we strive to use accessible venues. If you have any additional accessibility requirements that we can assist with, please email us at Events@thinkNPC.org.
