About the Event
3SG and Bath Spa University have recently launched the Bath Social Impact Network. Our next event will be run virtually on Tuesday 14th November from 10.30am -12pm. We will be hearing from Julian Blake about Place Based Community Partnerships. There will be opportunities for networking with fellow members as well as lots of time to ask our speakers questions. We hope you can join us. Julian Blake, a Stone King Partner, will be delving into the topic of Place Based Community Partnerships. The concepts of place-based initiatives and community wealth-building have developed in various forms in recent years. Social enterprises, as progressive, purpose-driven, community-focussed businesses, form a core part of local and regional social economies. The more social enterprise is recognised as an optimal business model in public services and more widely, the more this collaborative, co-operative aspect of the social enterprise movement may be promoted. Good businesses, individually, focus on public value, social and environmental responsibility, and fair and participative employment. Good businesses, collectively, with public authorities, and anchor institutions (for example, in education, health, care, community development, and leisure), may work towards multi-sector, multi-stakeholder place-based community partnerships and socially-integrated local ecosystems. You will be sent a link to join the online session once you have reserved your space.
As always any feedback/ideas on the network are greatly received.
