The environmental crisis is already impacting many aspects of our lives, from the quality of the air we breathe, to food and water insecurity, and rising energy bills.If we allow climate change to continue, it will only get worse. By reducing the quality of our lives and widening social inequalities, climate change will impact the very communities charities work to support. It’s also likely to affect the day-to-day work of charities across different subsectors.What role can the voluntary sector play in advocating for a greener, better future for the environment and our communities? And how can we embed sustainable practices?Join us to explore:how environmental issues intersect with many social justice issues why climate action is central to the mission of charities how charities can incorporate climate solutions into their operations.
