Charity Trustee Induction and Refresher

This is a 2-day training course -  Day 1: Tuesday 24th October, 10am - 1pm. Day 2: Tuesday 31st October, 10am - 1pm

By the end of the training, you'll:

• understand what governance and trusteeship are
• know who trustees are and what they do
• understand the personal liabilities of trustees and the protection available
• be able to identify and implement principles of good charity governance
• know how to govern and work with your fellow trustees to agree ways of working as a board.

Who should attend?

Anyone who’s new to governance and trusteeship, or existing trustees and senior staff who would benefit from a refresher course.

This course could also form part of an induction for a new trustee.

Who's delivering the training?

Dan Francis, NCVO's senior training and consultancy manager, delivers this course.

This training will take place on Zoom. A Zoom link with the joining instructions will be sent before the session.

The training will take place over two half days and will run from 10.00 until 13.00. You'll need to attend both days of the same course.

Pricing

Our pricing structure is based on your organisation’s gross annual income. NCVO members also receive a 30% discount on training prices.

If your organisation is an NCVO member, please log in to your NCVO website account before booking. Organisations with a gross annual income of less than £30,000 can join NCVO for free.
