This session will take place online via Zoom.

When setting up a charity, it’s important to choose the legal structure that suits the needs of your organisation.

This session will cover:

  • the four legal structures with which you can register with the Charity Commission and the key differences between them:Charitable Trust Unincorporated association Charitable company Charitable Incorporated Organisation
  • incorporated and unincorporated forms
  • how the structure you choose will affect your operations, legal responsibilities and reporting requirements.

There will also be an opportunity for a question and answer session. Spaces for this session are limited to encourage more interaction. This session is part of a series of webinars that NCVO is running in partnership with Withers LLP:
