About the Event

This session is for anyone who wants to understand opportunities for the VCSE sector delivering green skills, volunteering and training outcomes in the region.

Community Support Fund has delivered green social value outcomes to increase environmental awareness, pride of place and green volunteering for some of the most vulnerable in our communities.

We have seen CSF participants take the first step in their progression pathways into the regions green sector.  This session will share some of that learning and explore opportunities for the VCSE sector to engage with other programmes, projects and initiatives that are delivering green skills, volunteering and training outcomes in the region.

Brief overview of The Community Support Fund:

The Community Support Fund (CSF) supports the most vulnerable within our communities, including those who’ve suffered disproportionately due to COVID-19. The project aims to provide the vital first step towards learning, training, volunteering and employability. This £1.5m programme is a key part of the West of England Combined Authority’s Recovery Plan. It will support those who face the greatest risk of negative social, health or economic consequences as a result of the pandemic.
