About the Event
This session is for anyone who wants to explore or strengthen collaborations that supports employability and skills outcomes. This could be organisations who want to make better links with community groups as well as groups themselves.
Through delivering Community Support Fund we have observed fantastic collaborations which have brought together different expertise in engaging the vulnerable groups in our community and then support them to make progressions which change their lives.
Co-led with Creativity Works, this interactive workshop will support you to explore what collaboration means to you and your organisation, and the key ingredients for success. The aim is to support you to identify how you can maximise your organisation’s opportunities through collaborative working.
Brief overview of The Community Support Fund:
The Community Support Fund (CSF) supports the most vulnerable within our communities, including those who’ve suffered disproportionately due to COVID-19. The project aims to provide the vital first step towards learning, training, volunteering and employability. This £1.5m programme is a key part of the West of England Combined Authority’s Recovery Plan. It will support those who face the greatest risk of negative social, health or economic consequences as a result of the pandemic.
