About the Event

At a previous training session on corporate fundraising, held on Tuesday 26 March, we discussed the tactics you can use to engage businesses, and why charity partnerships are so important to successful business culture.

Join us for this two-hour, in-depth follow-up, to gain insight into how to craft your case for support when approaching corporate sponsors. It will cover:

  • How to identify the right information to include
  • The difference between features and benefits and how to articulate them
  • How to shape your case using the Four Pillar method
  • Plus the opportunity to try out written and verbal approaches

Who is it for?

This session is aimed at Somerset-based voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) staff or volunteers who are responsible for fundraising for their organisation. It is open to all and there is no requirement to have participated in the previous session held in March.

About the trainer

Your trainer for this session will be Julia Worthington, MInstF (Dip), corporate fundraising specialist at Amber Consulting. Julia has extensive experience in fundraising, developing successful corporate partnerships and coaching others on the topic.

This training is offered as part of a project that is being funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Subsidised tickets are solely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset. We strive to be accessible to all so if this cost is a barrier to your attendance, please get in touch at support@sparksomerset.org.uk.

Tickets are £15
