In session 1, we will be taking a bird’s eye view of how crises tend to unfold generally. We will look at the overarching governance principles needed to guide trustees and senior managers in their response to an incident. Stone King experts, together with a highly experienced PR advisor, will consider how best to work through the crisis, including ensuring that the highest-level of governance standards are upheld throughout, that regulators are dealt with appropriately, and that the charity’s internal and external communications are aligned with a coherent crisis response plan that guides all decision-making.
