The new guide from the DBS explains how organisations can use status checks alongside wider safeguarding measures to support informed recruitment and workforce decisions.
They have updated the full DBS Update Service guidance on GOV.UK, providing clearer information on status checking, service limitations, and safer recruitment considerations.
