About the Event

Is your organisation struggling to effectively drive behaviour change to promote environmental sustainability? Are you finding it difficult to engage individuals or communities? Traditional approaches often fall short in inspiring the large-scale action and long-term commitment required to protect our planet.

Join Media Trust's free online masterclass led by award winning media agency MG OMD, to learn the fundamental principles of behaviour change theories and how to apply them to encourage people to adopt positive behaviours to tackle environmental and social challenges such as climate change.

Whether you work for a UK environmental organisation or project, or you’re simply passionate about climate change communications and want to learn more about behaviour change, join this masterclass to gain insights, tactics and practical guidance.

In ‘Driving Behaviour Change for Climate Action’, Samantha Redmond will guide organisations through the process of translating behavioural insights into strategies to inspire and motivate action against climate change.

This free session will also provide an opportunity for attendees to directly ask questions and gain inspiration for their own campaigns.

In this masterclass you will:
  • Learn the fundamental principles of behaviour change theories and their relevance to climate and environmental issues.
  • Gain insights into how behaviour change strategies can enhance your communications.
  • Explore simple and cost-effective tactics that you can immediately apply to your campaigns.
The speaker

Samantha Redmond is the Behavioural Insight Director at Manning Gottlieb OMD (MG OMD), with a focus on communications, behaviour change and strategic insight. Samantha has over 10 years of experience in multi-method research and insights from private, public and third sector roles, in both agency and in-house settings.

Who is this for?

This masterclass is designed for professionals working for charities or other organisations with a charitable purpose in the UK, who have communications as part of their role or want to learn how their organisation can communicate more effectively on climate and environmental issues.

About the Communicating Climate Programme

This masterclass is part of Communicating Climate, a strategic communications programme designed for organisations working on climate and environmental issues and related areas. The programmes aims to give organisations the skills and knowledge to engage their audience and influence meaningful change. The programme is powered by MG OMD.
