About the Event

Do you have big ambitions for your charity, but think you lack the resources or expertise to achieve goals on your own? You might have financial shortfalls, but it could be so many other things. You might lack logistical resources such as storage or transport, you might lack specific expertise to train your staff and volunteers or maybe even connections to people who can make things happen. All of these can be supported by corporate partners! In the UK, FTSE100 companies account for a huge proportion of all charitable giving. Why? As Richard Branson once said: "Doing good is good for business!" Almost every single one of these firms has a charitable arm or foundation, and there are many more companies doing the same beyond that. But this isn't all about corporate funding. Support from a commercial foundation can deliver so much more than funding and this event from Third Sector Network will explain the myriad of other ways you can seek support that can massively benefit your charity or non-profit. So if you are looking for ways your charity can expand, grow and improve beyond marketing or traditional fundraising, this workshop is for you! Amongst other aspects, this event will focus on...
  • How corporate support (even without funding) can hugely raise your charity's profile.
  • That, if you pick the right targets, you can approach foundations with a much higher chance of success than simply approaching numerous options.
  • And we'll be looking at all the practical elements. Understanding how corporate support works, who to approach and most importantly, how best to do it.

So if your charity or non-profit is looking for ways to expand, develop and grow, this event could be just right for you! (And, one more thing... This isn't just for big charities with huge ambitions. This is just as much for smaller charities and start-ups!) Tickets:  Early Bird (until July 21st): £11.55 General Admission: £16.96 More about our host and Third Sector Network.

Third Sector Network host a variety of events specifically for the charity, non-profit and social enterprise sectors. Our events are designed to give organisations plain, understandable and relatable information that can be used straight away to practical use and without the need for big budgets or staff resources.

We always say:

"Our number one aim at every event is to make sure you leave in a stronger, more confident place on the subject than before you came. We can't always wave a magic wand and make everything you want happen at once. But we aim to give you the know how and practical tips you need to make things happen yourself in the long run."

So whether you're a larger nationwide organisation or a solo operation with a budget of zero, these events will definitely have something for you.

Host & Trainer - Your host has worked in both the public and private sector.
