About the Event

Do you have big ambitions for your charity, but think you lack the resources or expertise to achieve goals on your own? You might have financial shortfalls, but it could be so many other things. You might lack logistical resources such as storage or transport, you might lack specific expertise to train your staff and volunteers or maybe even connections to people who can make things happen. All of these can be supported by corporate partners! In the UK, FTSE100 companies account for a huge proportion of all charitable giving. Why? As Richard Branson once said: "Doing good is good for business!" Almost every single one of these firms has a charitable arm or foundation, and there are many more companies doing the same beyond that. But this isn't all about corporate funding. Support from a commercial foundation can deliver so much more than funding and this event from Third Sector Network will explain the myriad of other ways you can seek support that can massively benefit your charity or non-profit. Host & Trainer - Your host has worked in both the public and private sector. He was worked at senior levels of major non-profit organisations as well as for the government and major multinationals such as Santander Plc. He has worked with major corporate foundations in the UK in association with non-profits and brings a wealth of experience to this event as a freelance consultant.
