About the Event
The first part of the event (9:30-11:20) will be of interest to anyone working or volunteering for a VCS organisation and will:
challenge stereotypes of who could be at risk
provide information on accountability
help you recognise people at risk of abuse or neglect
advise on who to contact locally when you have concerns about someone’s safety
The second part of this event (11:30- 12:00) will be of interest to local VCS infrastructure and support organisations in particular and will explore the possibilities of developing a VCS Safeguarding Network in each region.
