Event theme: Exploring ways to save money and the environment

Who can attend Charity Meetup? Charity Meetup is open to anyone working or volunteering in the sector who would like to learn from our speakers and foster connections with others. Freelancers or agencies that support the sector and are happy to share their expertise are also welcome.

Who is this event suitable for? Everyone working in or supporting the sector is welcome to attend.

Tickets:

Charities, NFPs, CICs etc. and volunteers: We have free tickets available for volunteers or anyone whose charity has been financially affected by COVID or the cost of living crisis. We invite anyone who needs to join us free of charge to do so, and we very much look forward to welcoming you, but due to a high number of no-shows with such tickets please keep in mind that they are restricted in number. We understand that situations crop up that prevent people from attending, but we encourage you only to book if you intend to come along.

Freelancers/agencies: Tickets are £5.00 (early bird) or £7.00 for two weeks before the event

A Good Thing is a CIC on a mission to send more to good causes and less to landfill. Using a simple app, they match businesses with surplus products to charities in need.

Anna Rose Bowler, who leads their marketing and comms, will tell us how you can get involved and benefit from the donated resources while preventing waste and saving money.

Facilitated networking

We will put you into breakout rooms and give you points to discuss related to the theme of the meeting. Please also use this time to ask for any support you need or introductions you're looking for.
