About the Event
This free training aims to help family and friends supporting a loved one with lived experience of mental health problems. It further develops their understanding and approaches, to create the best possible environment that supports everyone’s emotional and mental wellbeing.
Carers group KS2 Bath believe that carers, who can feel isolated and overwhelmed, should receive quality training in the same way that staff do. KS2 Bath commissioned and developed the Cares training in collaboration with St Mungo's and with support from AWP the local mental health trust and The Carers Centre.
The course is delivered in blocks of 4 sessions, delivered online via Zoom.
The course will help to develop knowledge, understanding and approaches, to create the best possible environment that supports everyone's emotional and mental wellbeing.
As an un-paid carer, looking after yourself is vital in providing care for others.
If you're unable to attend in July, an additional course will be running in November. Dates below.
Thursday 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th Nov Times: 6:00pm - 8:30pm
