About the Event

This event is part of the BaNES Social Enterprise Programme of events. It's free and open to all, however spaces are limited.

Workshop Objective

The aim of the workshop is to assist organisations to think about planning for the future of their organisations; before they are forced to by events or committed to a particular course of action. This moves beyond traditional business planning and helps organisations to consider how (and why) they might want to think more creatively about the future of their organisations and the environment they will be operating within.

Goals

  • To help participants to identify, and reflect upon, the key challenges facing them and their organisation in the medium-to-long term.
  • To assist participants to consider alternative approaches to meeting the key challenges - looking more creatively at potential solutions (either individually or collaboratively) and thinking about how the process might be managed internally.
  • To support participants to take their ideas back to their organisations and develop them to the next stage
