About the Event
The covid-19 pandemic fundamentally altered the landscape of volunteering. This session aims to assess the impact of the pandemic on volunteers and provides insights into how to engage with volunteers in the post-pandemic world.
This course is aimed at those new to volunteer management and those who manage volunteers, as well as those who need a refresher.
By the end of the training, you will have:
- explored your role as a volunteer leader
- understand what makes a great volunteering experience
- Understand the legal status of volunteers
- critique and compare volunteer journeys against yours
- build a volunteer persona and test against types of motivations
- discuss types of barriers to volunteering and what to do about them
- learn about reward and recognition
- reflect and know how to act on difficult situations
This training will take place on Zoom and over two half days. You will need to attend both days of the same course.
We will send out the Zoom link with the joining instructions before the first session.
The training will run from 10.00 until 13.00.
Our pricing structure is based on your organisation’s gross annual income. NCVO members also receive a 30% discount training prices.
Ticket prices start at £63 for NCVO members with an annual income up to £50k.
