About the Event
Each June, Volunteers’ Week offers an opportunity to celebrate volunteers. But how can we show our appreciation to volunteers all year round?
This webinar will explore what research tells us about volunteer motivation and satisfaction. You’ll learn how to put these insights into practice.
We’ll hear from NCVO staff, partners and member organisations who’ll share:
- tips on how to show gratitude to volunteers
- practical ideas to better understand what your volunteers really want.
We’ll then look to the future and imagine together what volunteer recognition should look like in ten years’ time.
OUTCOMES By the end of the event, you’ll:
- understand how good volunteering practice contributes to volunteer satisfaction, inclusion and retention
- understand how communicating impact can motivate volunteers
- learn how to engage your volunteers to better understand their wants and needs.
- Volunteer managers
- Volunteer supervisors
- Volunteer coordinators
- Heads of volunteering
- Volunteering leads
- Trustees
- Anyone interested in the management or supervision of volunteers
