About the Event

Join us for an inspiring evening with SWAN Transport, as we delve into the incredible impact of volunteering and the successful initiatives that won SWAN the 'Innovation in Volunteering' award at the Community Transport Awards 2023.

SWAN will be showcasing firsthand the impact of their efforts through compelling videos, and engaging in a tell-all conversation about their approach to volunteer management. SWAN will share new approaches they have adopted to recruiting, supporting and retaining their volunteers that have worked for them. There will also be a panel discussion featuring SWAN's own volunteers.

This will be an enlightening evening of networking and celebration as we shine a spotlight on the incredible work of our community volunteers. Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the power of volunteering, and come away with new ideas and practices to elevate your own volunteer programme.

This is a free event for anyone working or volunteering in the local Third Sector, of particular interest to those responsible for coordianting volunteer programmes and initiatives, and managing volunteers, within their charity or community group.

3SG and SWAN Transport are collaborating on this event in celebration of Volunteers' Week 2024.

Refreshments will be provided. This event will be taking place at St John's Foundation Chapel, Chapel Court, Bath, BA1 1SQ. The nearest parking is Avon Street Car Park and Green Park Road Car Park, 5 minutes walk from the venue.
