About the Event
In this dynamic three-part workshop, participants will gain insight into SMK’s analysis of how impactful social change happens and learn how to use our key practical tools and approaches for impactful campaigning.
This includes learning about SMK’s ground-breaking concept of Social Power and how it can drive social change at all levels. Participants will use our unique tool – the Social Change Grid – to consider case studies of successful campaigns and probe what qualities they share.
Also in the workshop, you will consider the key role of power in today’s fast-moving external environment, but also where and how we can wield it, share it or combine it to create change inside and outside charities and other organisations.
Finally, you will explore SMK’s 12 Habits of Successful Change-Makers, based on our research into the ways of thinking and behaving that are common amongst effective campaigners. These habits have helped people and organisations at every level to achieve lasting social change.
