About the Event

This training will support senior leaders and trustees to embed EDI in their organisation’s culture, practice and services.

OUTCOMES By the end of the training, you'll:

understand key EDI concepts and terminology understand the context and need for this work in the voluntary sector assess where your organisation is on its EDI journey explore how to create a compelling EDI vision begin to set tangible goals.

WHO DELIVERS THE TRAINING? Pari Dhillon is the founder and director of the Social Justice Collective.Pari is widely known for her impactful approach. She has 20+ years of experience leading charities. Her innovative approaches to organisational change centre on social justice.Pari helps leaders and teams to map out their journey towards change. She supports people and organisations to realise their impact at a personal, interpersonal, workforce, and societal level.Chaka L. Bachmann is a partner consultant at Social Justice Collective and the director and founder of Impact Culture.Chaka is an experienced equity and inclusion expert, social justice researcher and intersectional activist. She has led large-scale research projects and EDI programmes for a range of clients. These include Girlguiding, Young Women’s Trust, Citizens Advice, and MSF UK.

HOW WILL IT BE DELIVERED? This training will take place on Zoom. NCVO will send out the Zoom link with the joining instructions before the session.The training will run from 09.30 until 12.30. You need to attend all sessions of the same course.
