About the Event

We hold a regular Leaders' Network meetings for our members, which we aim to alternate between in-person and online to accommodate for different individuals' preferences. Each session will have a theme and guest speaker. In this session, we will look at how to get the best out of a consultant.

Commissioning outside help: myth debunking, some dos and don’ts.

Bringing his 27 years’ experience as a charity consultant, Pete Hawkins is joining us to bear all!!

Come and learn about:

·  when, who and how to appoint a consultant – what they’ve good for, and what they’re not!

·  managing the process ‘the pitfall of assumptions’

·  ensuring value for money and getting the most out of your consultant

This will be an interactive time, with reflections and stories shared by Pete as well as discussion and peer-learning.

Leaders take many forms in the Third Sector, from CEOs to Trustees and Volunteers generously giving their time, so please do come along or check out our other networks!

The core aim of our Leaders' Network is to:

·        Make new contacts and build your network

·        Get peer support and advice

·        Gain knowledge about what’s happening in other organisations

·        Identify shared areas of interest and maybe even opportunities to collaborate
