As we move towards the most difficult winter in decades for many people across our communities, we will discuss 'money first' as an approach to offer practical responses to reducing the need for emergency and crisis support, and empowering people to maximise their income and ensure they are getting all they are eligible for.
We welcome Sabine Goodwin of the Independent Food Aid Network and Jeff Mitchell of Clean Slate, to present how this approach is used within their own organisations and the outcomes and impact that this has made.
Melanie Warren, the Regional Lead for Gloucestershire, will talk through the services that Clean Slate currently has on offer across the county.
There will be time for Q&As and breakout rooms for more in depth discussions around this topic, in smaller groups.
