About the Event
The UK Civil Society Almanac provides all you need to know about the voluntary sector’s finances, workforce, volunteering and impact.
This year, we’ve partnered with CharityJob to provide insights on sector salaries. We’re also excited to launch a new interactive dashboard to help you make the most of the data.
In this webinar, we’ll share how the Almanac can be used to:
- inform your financial strategies
- support your thinking about the external environment for voluntary organisations
- better understand opportunities and challenges facing your organisation.
By the end of the event, you’ll:
- learn the latest headlines about the size and scale of the UK voluntary sector
- know how to find more detailed information in the Almanac
- understand how the Almanac can be used by organisations for a range of purposes
- understand NCVO’s data collection and analysis process and how we plan to develop it.

How will it be delivered?
This event will take place on Zoom. Captions will be available.
We'll share joining instructions, including the Zoom link, one week in advance.
Timings are as follows.
- 11:30: Introduction.
- 11:40: What our research shows about the UK’s voluntary sector, followed by an introduction to the new Almanac data dashboard.
- 12:05: Audience Q&A session.
- 12:25: Closing reflections.
