Nova Fundraising April Open Surgery

In this month’s free Open Fundraising Surgery, Nova Fundraising is delighted to be addressing the topic of how to build an effective and immersive fundraising culture in your small charity.  This special session – for trustees, CEOs, leadership teams and fundraisers – will offer you some practical steps towards creating a fundraising programme that can be embraced by your whole organisation and does not just rest on the shoulders of one lonesome CEO or trustee (or if you’re lucky one employed fundraiser).  We want to present to you the concept of fundraising being a glue that can contribute effectively to helping your team work cohesively together, driving towards a shared vision. We will be tackling head-on the myths about hiring a fundraiser who will simply ‘raise us half-a-million’. Instead, we will propose to you that fundraising, if seen as a shared responsibility, can add far more to your organisation, than just money. We will offer you tools that can build essential skills throughout your organisation to ensure fundraising happens – with everyone contributing and on board – but without taking on extra tasks in their already heavy workloads. We will be delighted to host our friend and colleague, Jason Hodges, who is leading the fundraising at the awesome Anne Robson Trust, to tell us more about how his colleagues are embracing the opportunity to support him and work collectively towards their fundraising goals.
