About the Event

This year's caucus is focusing on 3 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals namely:

  • Sustainable cities and communities,
  • Quality Education,
  • and Good Health and Well-being.

We are inviting speakers and panellists creating waves in their respective fields to discuss our themes in further depth through workshops, followed by a networking session for you to get to know them better.

So far, we have the honour of hosting

  • Dr Andy Palmer, automotive executive and former COO of Nissan and CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda
  • Frederico Presicci, a mental health advocate and the author of 'The Power of Mindfulness'
  • Atsufumi Yokoi, UNESCO Chairholder in Research and Education for Sustainable Development.
  • Ruqia Osman, Inclusive Communities Coordinator at London Metropolitan University
  • Toulwa Oyeleye, International Coach and Motivational Speaker

More information about speakers and panellists, along with the workshops, can be found on our social media pages.

As a special highlight, One Young World Counsellor and award-winning social entrepreneur Caroline Casey will receive an Honorary Degree from the University of Bath at the end of this year’s caucus. Caroline was one of the keynote speakers at OYW Bath in 2019 and was a huge hit with the delegates. As the founder of The Valuable 500, ‘a global business collective made up of 500 CEOs and their companies innovating together for disability inclusion’ we are thrilled that Caroline will be joining us at the end of the caucus again this year.

Lunch provided.
