About the Event
OUTCOMES By the end of the training, you'll:

- know how to use a range of practical project management tools
- be able to identify project roles and stakeholders
- understand principles for monitoring and reporting on a project to show its overall impact
- understand basic financial management
- know how to mitigate project risks
- know how to approach project handover and closure
- understand online project management tools and how to use them.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This course is designed for new and existing project and programme managers in the voluntary sector.
WHO DELIVERS THE TRAINING? Lauren Kocher is a consultant at NCVO. She has over 15 years of programme and project management experience.Lauren has worked across a variety of sectors, from international development to local authority, and is currently senior programme delivery manager for the Mayor of London's sport team.
HOW WILL IT BE DELIVERED? This training will take place on Zoom. We'll send out the Zoom link with the joining instructions before the session.The training will run from 09.30 until 14.30. You'll need to attend both days of the same course.
