About the Event

Run entirely on line, individuals and small numbers of people can now access our blended learning courses at a very reasonable cost. This course is strictly limited to 10 attendees to maintain the quality and effectiveness of the live online training session. Places can also be booked direct on our website.

Firstly, to establish a baseline of knowledge, delegates take both our Standard Child Safeguarding and Standard Adult Safeguarding online courses (total 2 hours and included in the price), followed up by a one hour 30 minute bespoke Zoom session with one of our safeguarding experts, (date and time as published), which covers their roles and responsibilities when working with children, young people and adults at risk.

After booking, please let us know the areas in which you work, so that the live online session can be prepared to address those issues most relevant to you and other attendees. Feel free to email us with any particular questions you would like addressed.

Programme:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Quick fire safeguarding quiz
  • Relevant regulatory requirements including OFSTED, CQC and the Charity Commission
  • Safeguarding competence and safer working practices
  • Bespoke case scenarios linking to the organisation's safeguarding policy and procedures
  • Questions

This course includes a comprehensive digital training pack and certificate of attendance, valid for 3 years, for each delegate.

The course also meets the educational criteria required for Levels One and Two required for verifiable enhanced Continuing Professional Development under the General Dental Council's Lifelong Learning Scheme. It represents 6 hours of verifiable CPD, learning outcomes A and D.

SAFEcic courses are continuously updated to comply with all the latest relevant legislation, statutory guidance, regulatory and sector specific requirements in UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. For further details, please go to www.safecic.co.uk
