About the Event

Run entirely on line, individuals and small numbers of people can now access our blended learning courses at a very reasonable cost. This course is strictly limited to 10 attendees to maintain the quality and effectiveness of the live online training session. Places can also be booked direct on our website.

Firstly, to establish a baseline of knowledge, delegates take our one hour Safeguarding for Trustees - Ensuring Compliance online course (included in the price), followed up by a one hour and 30 minute bespoke Zoom session with one of our safeguarding experts on the date and time published, which covers the key issues for Trustees' roles and responsibilities within their charity.

After booking, please let us know the charity with which you work, so that the live online session can be prepared to address those issues most relevant to you and other attendees. Feel free to email us with any particular questions you would like addressed.

The Online Course includes;

  • Videos and interactive case scenarios
  • Unlimited downloads of template policies and help sheets
  • Easy access to resources and downloads relevant to the charity sector
  • Live Video Training Programme:
  • Welcome and introductions
  • Quick fire safeguarding quiz
  • Key steps in safer recruitment
  • Managing concerns and allegations at strategic level
  • Safeguarding competence and safer practices

  • Questions

Following completion, trustees will be able to identify and plan actions needed to ensure the charity is meeting its legal safeguarding 'duty of care' and maintain safeguarding arrangements in line with legislation, government guidelines and regulatory requirements.

This course includes a comprehensive digital training pack and certificate of attendance, valid for 3 years, for each delegate.

SAFEcic courses are continuously updated to comply with all the latest relevant legislation, statutory guidance, regulatory and sector specific requirements in UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. For further details, please go to www.safecic.co.uk
