You will get to engage in a couple of exercises throughout the workshop in addition to being provided with information about the regional, central and global context of social value in procurement.

What will You learn? By the end of the workshop participants will:

● Understand what social value and impact means and how it intersects with policy at global and local levels, including the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

● Have considered the metrics they use to measure success and consider broadly whether they sit in outputs, outcomes or impact.

This is for start-ups and SMEs interested in the global and local policy and procurement context around social value and impact, especially if they are considering engaging in public sector procurement via local councils or the Combined Authority in the future.
