About the Event
Stand Against Racism & Inequality is a Hate Crime Charity that covers Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset and South Gloucestershire and provides client-led, 1-1 advocacy support to victims of hate crime as well as other services in these areas.
The National Lottery Community Fund has funded SARI to deliver Empowerment sessions to communities to raise awareness on hate crime and the support services available. The session will equip individuals with knowledge that will help them deal with hate crime confidently and appropriately. Anyone is welcome to attend.
In the session we will cover:
- Different types of hate crime and its impacts.
- Challenges and barriers to reporting.
- How to report and recognise hate crime and hate incidents and what services can support.
This event is kindly hosted by Bath City Farm for the Twerton and Whiteway Community Network, Bath Women's Fund and SARI.
