Event details 

The Big Help Out is a national campaign designed to inspire volunteering. The Big Help Out 2024 is taking place from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 June 2024.The campaign aims to reduce barriers for communities currently under-represented in volunteering. An incredible 7.2 million people took part in The Big Help Out 2023. It was the UK’s biggest ever day of mass volunteering.This webinar will provide practical information about the campaign, including:

  • what The Big Help Out is all about
  • how volunteer-involving organisations can participate
  • how The Big Help Out can support volunteer recruitment and engagement.

 NCVO is a key delivery partner for The Big Help Out 2024.

By the end of the event, you’ll:understand the purpose and key elements of The Big Help Out 2024 consider how to make the most of The Big Help Out alongside Volunteers’ Week learn approaches to engage under-represented communities in volunteering create a checklist of next steps to get involved.

 The session will be delivered by Gethyn Williams. Gethyn is an independent consultant supporting NCVO’s work on The Big Help Out.
