About the Event

Greenpeace Bath will be hosting a town hall event at Chapel Arts on Tuesday 22nd November focused on the cost of living and climate crises. We have some fantastic expert speakers for our panel afterwards and we would love to see you for this FREE event.

Film screening

As part of this event we will be showing the short film The Cost of Living made by Greenpeace and the New Economics Foundation. The film highlights the impact that the cost of living crisis brought on by the leap in energy prices has had on the Rother Valley communities. Both the cost of living and climate crises can be solved by investing in renewable energy, properly insulating homes and providing people with the skills and training needed to deliver this green energy revolution.

Expert Panel

Following the film we will be hosting a town hall conversation with representatives from the following local organisations:

Sarah Warren - Deputy Leader of Bath & North East Somerset Council (Responsible for Climate and Sustainable Travel)

Danny Gross - Campaign Officer - Friends of the Earth

Alex Lockton - Renewable Energy Development Coordinator - Bath and West Community Energy

Doors open at 7pm and the film starts at 7:30pm.
