About the Event

A charity trustee is often responsible for leading the charity organisation in its mission, deciding how its purpose will be carried out and ensuring it is operating legally. A well-managed charity should have a diverse board of trustees bringing different skills, experience and knowledge together to enable more informed decisions.

Trustee indemnity insurance (TII) covers trustees from having to personally pay legal claims that are made against them (by their charity or by a third party), for a breach of trust, or a breach of duty or negligence committed by them in their capacity as trustees.

This webinar will give insights into the risks involved with acting as a Trustee and advice as to how to successfully protect your trustee board and thereby supporting with the recruitment and retainment of trustees. The session will also touch on the importance of diversifying your trustee board. The webinar is kindly being delivered by Rachael Romasanta, Cert CII, NEBOSH who is an Account Executive at Adler Fairways
