This webinar is designed to help charities who are looking to find new sources of income to do it without risking huge amounts of time or money. 

There's nothing worse than opening a charity shop to have it close after less than a year, or running a raffle to be left with expensive prizes and not enough ticket sales.

Often we have a meeting to discuss possible fund raising ideas and choose one. We don't often talk to the people who will be giving us the funds to understand if they think it is a good idea.  

In this webinar, based on the startup idea of Customer Discovery, developed by Steve Blank at Stanford University, Denis Oakley will will be talking about how we can discover what people want and will pay for in a way that is open to every charity.

Denis Oakley runs innovation programmes to help organisations understand what their customers want and need. He is a lecturer at the WMG at the University of Warwick, has spoken at TEDx and has worked with companies as diverse as Siemens, VISA, Sime Derby and Petronas. In his spare time he volunteers with the National Autistic Society, Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust and Cranfield Trust
