About the Event
OUTCOMES By the end of the training, you'll:understand the legal position of volunteers and the implications of working volunteers explore every aspect of the volunteer journey, including planning, recruitment, induction, support, and development identify key issues for your organisation to be aware of, and actions to take to reduce risk consider how to use legislation to develop and communicate an inclusive approach. Please note: We will not be offering legal advice during this course.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This course is for anyone who manages volunteers or is new to volunteer management.It will also be a useful refresher for anyone with existing knowledge of volunteers and the law.
WHO DELIVERS THE TRAINING? This course will be delivered by an NCVO consultant who specialises in volunteer management.Our consultants are experienced trainers. They work with voluntary and corporate organisations to develop and improve their approach to volunteering.
