Bath City Farm is recruiting a Site and Facilities Manager to lead on the practical maintenance and infrastructure improvements of the farm’s buildings and 37-acre site. The role will also lead the organisation on Health and Safety and COSHH and ensure the farm site and its facilities provide a welcoming, tidy and safe place for all its users. A key part of this role is working alongside volunteers and other community groups to develop the farm site for community use.
We are looking for a conscientious, adaptable and hardworking individual with significant experience and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of practical skills in land and facilities management, and of legal obligations and putting systems in place for managing Health and Safety for a wide range of users. The successful candidate will be innovative with an ability to deal with a wide range of issues at the same time.
The role will undertake inspection, repair, maintenance, cleanliness and development of the site infrastructure and equipment, as well as overseeing capital development works, service contracts, and legal responsibilities in Heath and Safety. This role is also responsible for overseeing the care of the animals delivered by the Livestock Coordinator and project staff.
