Job Role: Housing Support Worker

Salary: £23,240 per annum

Hours: 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Trowbridge

Additional information:

  • ​On-call (1 in 4 weeks), £100/week when on-call

The Role:

Provide person centered, high quality support and housing management service to clients in recovery from substance misuse, providing guidance and opportunities to enable the achievement of a sustainable, independent life.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Support clients in addiction living within Julian House recovery service.
  • Ensure clients receive regular medical/clinical reviews and follow up any changes in prescribed treatment, to be integrated into recovery plans.
  • Carry out the client referral and assessment process
  • Co-ordinate and deliver meaningful opportunities for clients to develop confidence and skills, while focusing on client involvement and regular house meetings.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Health or Social Care qualification at degree level or equivalent
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
