Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Fitness Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be running a weekly fitness and exercise class for adults with learning disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, the ability to educate clients on proper techniques, and a background in sports coaching is highly desirable.

Duties

  • Conduct group exercise sessions
  • Educate clients on exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall wellness to promote a healthy lifestyle
  • Monitor client progress and adjust training programmes as necessary to ensure optimal results
  • Provide motivation and support to clients during workouts, fostering a positive training environment
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fitness trends, techniques, and safety protocols
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the training area and equipment
  • Collaborate with other fitness professionals to enhance client experience and programme offerings

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to physical fitness
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively
  • Experience in sports coaching is advantageous, providing insight into various training methodologies
  • Ability to motivate and inspire clients towards achieving their personal fitness goals.
  • A passion for health and fitness, coupled with a commitment to ongoing professional development

  • Safeguarding Certification
